Parent contact

This is your parent account (one player per account for now). Parent name and email are required; phone is optional. Coaches see them only if you check them in Full custom — then your player’s card shows “Parent: your name”. Hidden or not, coaches can message you through SelectTransferPortal — your contact info stays private.

Your player

Your player’s name is never shown on SelectTransferPortal — coaches see age group, positions and the other details you choose.

Only for your own records (e.g. if you have more than one player). Never shown to coaches, other parents, or anyone else.
Age group

Age group follows the May 1 baseball cutoff and updates automatically each season. Birth month and year are never shown to coaches.
Some sanctions let a player who is in a younger grade play down one age group. Eligibility depends on the sanction; the coach confirms at signup.
Positions
Check every position your player plays — at least one. OF = any outfield spot.
Whole years of organized play, 0–15.
District only (e.g. “Plano ISD”), never a specific school. Coaches see it in Full custom when “Show school district” is checked.
External profile link (shown only if you check it). Linked pages may show your player’s name. In-app video hosting is planned for a future release.

Strengths, availability, what you’re looking for. Coaches see notes only in Full custom with “Show player notes” checked — never in Anonymous. Keep contact info out of notes.

Don’t include your player’s name, school, or other identifying details.

Team interest

When off, your contact info is hidden and coaches can’t message you. Your profile stays active and still appears in searches as “Not looking right now” (unless you’re Invisible), and you can keep searching teams.

Visibility

Your player’s name is never shown. New profiles start Anonymous and open to a new team. Choose Invisible to be totally hidden.

Custom checklist

Your player’s name and specific school are never shown, so there’s no option for them.

Parent contact unchecked? Coaches can still message you through SelectTransferPortal without seeing your email or phone.
